[Undergraduates] Indication of College Affiliation Preference

Every student who is admitted to CUHK will be affiliated to one of the Colleges.

Students who have accepted an offer of admission to a full-time undergraduate programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong are requested to complete an online form by a stipulated deadline.

In assigning new students to different Colleges, it is desirable that each College would have students from different faculties/ departments to facilitate interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and ideas and to widen the students’ intellectual perspective. The system for assigning new students to Colleges takes into consideration the preferences of students, their study programmes and admission scores. While students will be assigned college affiliation based on their preferences as far as possible, they may not be assigned their most preferred College owing to limitation of places available.

Notes:

1. The period for submission of college preference form shown below is for students admitted in the JUPAS Main Round ONLY. Students who are admitted in the other rounds of JUPAS admission exercise will be notified of the details separately.

2. For students admitted directly through the following admission schemes, please refer to email/ notification from the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid:

• Mainland (Gaokao)
• Non-JUPAS (Local)
• Non-JUPAS (Senior Year)
• SALSA
• SNDAS
